Speaking at the meeting, the chair of the China Exim Bank hailed President Kenyatta's ambitious plans for Kenya's infrastructure. President Uhuru Kenyatta has welcomed a proposal to have Kenya and Chinese government officials hold bi-annual meetings. He said the move would boost the partnership between the two countries and provide an avenue to discuss priority projects. President Kenyatta spoke at State House on Monday, Nairobi, during a meeting with a high-powered delegation from China led by the Exim bank chair Hu Xiaolian. "We believe these projects have a direct impact on the socio-economic growth of Kenya,” Xiaolian said.
