Uhuru warns against unruliness during repeat poll, roots for peace

President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned against acts of lawlessness amid tension over Thursday's repeat poll. "Anyone who wishes to express anything against tomorrow's poll must do so within the confines of the law," Uhuru said. Raila, during a rally at Uhuru Park, said he will not take part in the election on grounds the outcome is predetermined. He said the repeat poll is yet another opportunity for the citizens to show the world that Kenya is a modern state focused on its growth. He assured security personnel of his support as they man the repeat poll adding that those who "cross the red line" will be dealt with.
