In a letter to Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, the President nominated three more Principal Secretaries to his Cabinet. On Thursday, Royal Media Services Chief Executive Officer Farida Karoney was vetted by the committee on appointments as the CS nominee for Lands and Housing. President Uhuru Kenyatta has said food security, affordable housing, manufacturing and inexpensive healthcare are the key areas his administration will focus on during his final termThe move comes President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday forwarded three names of Principal Secretaries nominees and one for ambassadorial position to Parliament for vetting. Mr Charles Hinga Mwaura was nominated as the Principal Secretary for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Kevit Desai was nominated as Principal Secretary for Vocational and Technical Training while Joseph Irungu was nominated as the Principal Secretary for water and sanitation.
