President Uhuru Kenyatta has been criticised for having a bias towards the central region and "covering Jubilee hatemongers". The council accused Uhuru of protecting Jubilee MPs who have made reckless statements likely to cause chaos. He said President Uhuru should publicly declare that he is "not a President of the central region but of all Kenyans". The Luo Council of Young Leaders said on Tuesdaythat the president should crack the whip on all leaders issuing inciting remarks despite their political background.
