Nairobi's Uhuru Park has been closed indefinitely, days to NASA's defiant swearing-in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. "Uhuru Park Grounds is scheduled to undergo phased improvement works in order to enhance recreation usefulness to its visitors," states the notice by acting county secretary Leboo ole Morintat. Raila, Kalonzo, Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress) and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) do not recognise Uhuru Kenyatta as a legitimate president. Fears abound ahead of the swearing-in and police officers once said they were ready to arrest Raila should they be given such orders.
