A section of President Uhuru Kenyatta allies has insisted that the Mt Kenya region will field a candidate for the presidency in the 2022 General Election. "There are only two communities that have ruled Kenya since independence... maybe it's time for another community to lead...isn't that so?" Uhuru's statement sent shivers down the spines of William Ruto allies who ridiculed the president accusing him of pulling the tribe card.
