Uduaghan expresses displeasure at election postponement

Delta South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives (APC), Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has expressed his displeasure over the sudden postponement of presidential and national assembly polls earlier scheduled for Saturday by the Independent National Electoral (INEC). Dr Uduaghan, who’s the immediate past governor of Delta State made this known in a statement signed and available to Tribune Online on Saturday in Warri. “However, I wish to use this opportunity to thank my teeming supporters in Delta South Senatorial District who despite the difficult terrain mobilized to vote me as the senator representing Delta South in the red chambers. “We shall continue to be focused on the legislative issues that will bring permanent peace, faster and more robust infrastructure and human capital development in Delta South and by extension the Niger Delta. The Itsekiri-born medical doctor, however, appealed to his “teeming supporters to be calm, patient, keep hope alive and be more resolute to vote the APC come Saturday, 23rd February 2019.”
