The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is allowing drivers of Uber to switch to Grab and U-hop. This is while Uber's one-month suspension is in effect. But in order to be accredited by the two other transport network companies (TNCs), Uber drivers must present a proof of accreditation and a proof of insurance coverage. LTFRB Board Member and Spokesperson Aileen Lizada says, the names of the drivers must be in the official list submitted by Uber to the LTFRB. For its part, Uber has asked the Board if it could just pay a fine of P 10 million.
