By Sabela OjeaShares of Uber Technologies climbed 5.4% to $60.47 in after-hours trading after S&P Global said the ride-hailing company will be joining the S&P 500 index. The San Francisco-based company will be included in the index prior to the start of trading on Dec. 18, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Friday. Uber, along with Jabil and Builders FirstSource, will replace Sealed Air, Alaska Air Group and SolarEdge Technologies in the index.
