The food delivery app from shared ride service Uber will be coming to Auckland early 2017, after launching in the US and Australia in March this year. Uber confirmed it would be introducing the app to Auckland early next year afterfive job listings appeared on Uber's website for senior positions with Uber EATS. In Australia, food delivery apps have been on the rise this year. A study by YouGov in June found almost half of all Australians had ordered food online, and most would do it again.
