On the occasion, Dr Amit was awarded an honorary crest and sash by the UWA Society of Bangladeshi Culture-USBC, according to a press release. During the event, Dr Amit distributed prizes among the winners of the Annual Sports Competition-2020 arranged by the University of Western Australia’s Bangladeshi Community. In his speech, Dr Amit said: “You consider me a masterpiece of the country, but I believe you are all incredibly talented. Dr Amit was born in Rangmati district of Bangladesh on April 25, 1959.
