Tomas (UST) received a bomb threat through a text message on Wednesday. According to the Manila Police District (MPD), a Medical Technology student reported the receipt of a text message saying that a bomb would go off inside the campus at 12 noon. Members of the MPD’s Explosive and Ordnance Division combed the campus but found no explosives. On Tuesday night, the Mapua Institute of Technology also received a bomb threat, prompting school officials to suspend classes and office work and to evacuate its students and employees. No bomb was found.
