Austin Jackson, the anchor of an improved USC offensive line last season, is off to the NFL. The junior left tackle announced on social media that he will forgo his final season of eligibility at USC and declare for the draft. He proceeded to lead a turnaround along USC’s offensive line that helped his draft stock skyrocket. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman’s departure leaves a gaping hole on the left side of the Trojans’ offensive line. USC signed six offensive linemen during the early-signing period in hopes of mitigating its losses at left and right tackle.
