AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine is 100 percent effective at keeping people out of hospital and stopping them dying of the disease, a US trial found today. Experts have warned that EU action could hit UK supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine in May and June. Some 55 percent of Germans said the AstraZeneca vaccine is unsafe while 32 percent said it is safe. The European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organization (WHO) have ruled that the AstraZeneca jab is safe and effective. Experts have warned that EU action could hit UK supplies of the AstraZeneca vaccine in May and June.
