It is China that is making war, with itself and the world.Regardless, the US and the international community will not be cowed by China, much less cower. Letters to the EditorBeijing's warning to the world "not to take sides" is unwarranted and totally unnecessary. In fact US Deputy State Secretary Antony Blinken released an official position in November 2015, saying it would "support China 100 per cent" if it could establish that it owns the islets, shoals and reefs" in dispute.
