US investor eyes hi-tech hospital in HCM CityThe US’s Quantus, Inc is planning to invest in a hi-tech hospital at Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 9. Half of the investment will be spent on building the hospital and life science research and development institute, which are planned for completion by July 2018. The hi-tech hospital aims to provide medical services on par with those in Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo and is also expected to attract patients from other countries, bringing in from $500 million to $1 billion into Vietnam, Mr. Park added. Quantus was founded in 2012 to focus on providing customers in the life sciences industry with onsite compliance in staffing and technical services. SHTP is a State-owned industrial park providing tax incentives and reasonable land rentals with a strategic location to attract technology companies to Ho Chi Minh City.
