A US diplomat has been arrested for allegedly brandishing a gun on a civilian after an accident in Nairobi. Police said the embassy employee was grilled on the accident and his alleged use of the gun, and that his Ceska pistol taken away for analysis. OCPD Robinson Thuku earlier said the accident involved a diplomat and a Kenyan. But the United States Embassy refuted claims its employee drew a gun causing panic after the accident. "Contrary to some reports, at no time did the embassy employee pull or fire a weapon," the embassy wrote on Twitter.
