Members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the US Congress have demanded their government to announce clearly its policy on the war on Tripoli and to support the United Nations-led peace process. 13 members have called in a letter to the Foreign Minister, Mike Pompeo, to address the confusion of the US policy in Libya, which came after the call of US President Donald Trump with Khalifa Haftar, noting that this situation has given the green light for some parties to continue their aggression and undermine the process of political settlement.
