(CNN) US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman on Wednesday visited an American citizen in Russian custody, five days after the corporate security director was mysteriously arrested. When Paul didn't arrive at the wedding later Friday, the newlyweds filed a missing-person report with Russian authorities, the brother told CNN. Paul Whelan spent two weeks' military leave in Russia in 2006, according to an article posted on the US Marine Corps website. The timing of Whelan's arrest has raised speculation about whether it had anything to do with Maria Butina's legal troubles in the US. Tony Blinken, a former deputy US national security adviser and a CNN analyst, said Whelan's arrest looked like Russia's attempt at a "tit-for-tat."
