However, Rory then misses his putt and will close out the day with a bogey. It’s a second round 72 to leave him two shots behind co-leaders Patrick Cantlay and Thomas Detry. Scheffler does make par to sit on five over. A tough day for the world number one – no birdies and he could miss the cut.
