The classic McDonald's french fry is set for an Aussie makeover, with the fast food giant reportedly introducing Australian Maccas' Cheesy Bacon Fries to its US menus later this year. Add mayo – and maybe a bit of tomato sauce – to the Cheesy Bacon Fries and you'd be eating the Kiwi fish'n'chip classic Cheezy Weezie. McDonalds Australian McDonalds' Cheesy Bacon Fries will be available in US restaurants from June. Kevin Stuttard McDonald's is rolling out four "Worldwide Favourites" in its US restaurants in June, including Australia's Cheesy Bacon Fries. Cheesy Bacon Fries were trialled for a limited time in select US McDonald's outlets earlier this year.
