The US Congress is mulling endorsing a bill for stability in Libya to clarify the American policy toward the country and push for a diplomatic solution to the conflict. The 33-page bill revolved around the challenges facing Libya's stability, tackling foreign intervention in Libya and assisting the country with necessary aids. "There should be an end to the Russian influence in Libya and sanctions on Russian military intervention in the country." It added that sanctions should also be imposed on individuals who threaten peace and stability and violate human rights in the country. It also authorizes the Department of State and USAID to provide humanitarian assistance to Libyans and international migrants and requires the creation of a strategy to address the humanitarian situation in Libya.
