He said the airlines will operate flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi from the beginning of 2021, and later add flights to Colombo, the capital of Srilanka, and Male, Maldives. US-Bangla Airlines owns 13 aircrafts in its fleet out of which four are Boeing 737-800, six are brand new ATR 72-600, and three are DASH 8-Q400. “It will take two more years for US-Bangla Airlines to recover from the financial losses it has suffered due to the pandemic,” he responded to a query. In May, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) proposed full wavier for of aeronautical charge for domestic and 50% for international airlines.
