US-Bangla crash: Three remaining victims identified, says embassy official

A US-Bangla plane crashed on Mar 12, as it tried to land in the Nepali capital, killing 49 people—26 of them Bangladeshis, including four crew members. The bodies of the 23 victims were flown back to Dhaka on Monday and handed over to families. An official of the Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal said the Kathmandu Medical College authorities identified the bodies of Alifuzzaman, Pias Roy and Mohammad Nazrul Islam. Earlier, officials said a DNA match might be required to identify the charred bodies as the plane burst into flames after the crash. Emam, however, said a DNA match was not needed in the end.
