Akin to last year, three teams have made the play-offs in the Stormers, Bulls and Sharks – the same trio in both campaigns. Unlike the previous season, they had to double up as they competed in the Champions and Challenge Cups alongside the 18-game regular URC season. The SharksSumming up the Sharks‘ season is difficult. It certainly ended disappointingly as their Springbok-laden side failed to deliver Champions Cup qualification. The Johannesburg men will be proud of their efforts and will fight with the Sharks in the Challenge Cup next season.
