In a major boost to Smart City Mission, eight cities in Uttar Pradesh have been identified for installation of e-charging facility for two, three and four wheelers. The new facility will house an e-charging facility for as many as 25 buses. Prayagraj will have 25 slow charging stations.“We have surveyed the land, and once the transfer of land from the government level is done, construction of the charging station will start. According to the proposal, Varanasi and Kanpur will have 25 such stations. Lucknow will have 10 slow charging and 27 fast charging stations, while the rest of the selected Uttar Pradesh cities in the list will have 10 slow charging stations each.
