MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons did their part in the Gen We Ultimatum concert at the UP Sunken Garden Friday evening, January 26 with a short rap on stage. “It’s an original rap that I wrote,” said the 20-year old Kamga who will be serving his residency in UP for next season. “This is just our way of showing solidarity for human rights and press freedom. I’ve never before stood before a UP audience that isn’t for basketball so this is a nice change. But like Diego said, this isn’t a change of careers for us.”Bands and recording artists such as True Faith, Noel Cabangon, Rivermaya, Sinosikat, Ebe Dancel, Bullet Dumas, Bras Pas Pas Pas Pas, Autotelic, and Sponge Cola were among those who performed for the show.
