UNSMIL welcomes bipartisan HoR Tangiers meetingBy Sami Zaptia. London, 24 November 2020:UNSMIL said today that it was encouraged by the large consultative session of Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR) that will begin today in Tangiers and is being hosted by Morocco. It said ‘‘that such a diverse range of Parliamentarians from Libya’s three regions is meeting under one roof is a positive and welcome step’’. Reports from Moroccan media say up to 120 HoR members gathered in Tangiers for an unofficial consultative meeting from 23-25 November. The meeting, that is not brokered by UNSMIL, gathers members from across the main political divide and from the three main regions of Libya.
