The United Nations Support Mission In Libya (UNSMIL) condemned what it described as the harassment of bank staff and female clients in Siyahiya area in Tripoli. "UNSMIL is working to support political and police authorities to end this criminal behaviour," the mission said through its website. The armed group accused of these abuses have entered the areas west of Tripoli as part of the security arrangements agreed upon between the United Nations mission and the parties involved in the recent conflict, which occurred in Tripoli in August and September last year.
