He said that the UNP is willing to offer their lawyers to suspects arrested for this offence as this is an unjust way to deal with the country’s problems. “The government is trying to silence those who speak the truth against them by arresting them for allegedly spreading fake news, which is an unethical way of dealing with issues,” he stated.
