The Commanding Officer (CO) of UNMISS GHANBATT 7, Lt Col Antwi Awuah Darkwa, on March 28, took over command from CO of UNMISS GHANBATT 6, Lt Col Albert Sison Ogaja at the GHANBATT Headquarters at Unity State, Bentiu in South Sudan. Lt Col AA Darkwa congratulated and expressed his gratitude to the CO, officers and men of GHANBATT 6 for their commitment to the Mission of the GHANBATT. He said GHANBATT 7 will continue to ensure that, the flag of Ghana flew aloft. In a short speech, he advised Officers and men of GHANBATT 7 to open up their hearts and minds and work for success of the Mission. He urged all to learn and build the requisite professional capacity needed for the future, especially in an international environment.
