UNDP making impact on people’s lives in BenghaziBy UNDP Libya. Tripoli, 14 April 2021:UNDP Resident Representative, Mr. Gerardo Noto, visited Benghazi to witness the impact of UNDP’s initiatives in people’s lives. During the meetings, Mr. Noto was also able to discuss the needs and challenges facing the municipalities to set solution-oriented plans and the way forward. During his meeting with Mr. Noto, Mr. El-Abedeen updated Mr. Noto on the progress of his project where he explained how the community is utilizing the application saying, “I’m happy I was awarded through this programme which is serving the community in Benghazi. Benghazi Corniche reconstructedTo bring back life to the heart of the old Benghazi city, UNDP’s “Resilience4Libya” reconstructed the Benghazi Corniche stretching along the Mediterranean Sea.
