The campaign to free Dawit Isaak is still strong in Sweden after 15 years. "Those arrested have been detained incommunicado and in solitary confinement," said Sheila Keetharuth, the UN special rapporteur on the human rights situation in Eritrea. Among those seized was Swedish-Eritrean journalist and author Dawit Isaak. Those arrested 15 years ago are not the only victims of rights abuses in Eritrea. Keetharuth served on a UN Commission of Inquiry that concluded earlier this year that Eritrean officials were guilty of "crimes against humanity".
