Temperatures will rise over the next seven days with the mercury hitting the 22C mark in the south of England on Monday, forecasters believe. And on Tuesday, London will be a searing 25C - a full two degrees hotter than Rabat, the capital of Morrocco. The miserable weather that has hung over Britain for the past week hasn't shifted because of a rigid jet stream pattern. By the middle of next week the west to east weather driver will be broken up, meaning low pressure in northern Europe will begin to shift. This should allow a warmer front to move up from the south, causing the temperatures to rise.
