The sunniest places today will be in south, south-west, south-east and central England, Scotland and Wales. Despite warm temperatures on Wednesday, with highs of 25C, there will be heavy rain across Scotland, north Wales and north-east England. Elsewhere, mostly dry with sunny spells throughout, but just a small risk of a light shower in some western areas. However, across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Midlands, there is a risk of catching a heavy shower at times. Sunny spells and some heavy showers on Thursday.
