The Met Office warned of 'up to seven inches' rain in the South West, four inches in the South East and two inches in the North. Met Office forecaster Marco Petagna said: “Conditions are awful. There will be impacts.”The Environment Agency warned of floods across England until Monday with 450 flood alerts in place and three flood warnings in the South West. Becoming brighter for northern England and much of Scotland though with some showers. Tonight:Showers for eastern Scotland and northern England with some rain for the west of Northern Ireland, the southwest of England and south Wales.
