Sub-zero temperatures overnight will mean parts of the country are set to wake up to frost, especially those living in rural areas. Most of the country will stay dry, with showers in the northeast and clouds across the southwest easing off overnight. Giving the latest forecast, Met Office meteorologist Clare Nasir said: “Wherever you are, though, it’s going to be a dry start to Saturday morning with some sunshine. Most parts dry with plenty of sunshine, though feeling chilly in places exposed to the keen easterly wind. Otherwise dry and bright with overnight frost.
