UK weather: Mini-heatwave to arrive as lockdown eases


The Met Office has predicted highs of 24C in London on Wednesday, with similar temperatures expected in Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Met Office forecaster Oli Claydon told The Mirror that the spell of hot weather is being caused by warm air moving in from the south-west. The sunny weather will continue on Wednesday although some clouds are possible, while temperatures remain the same at 20C.
