The weather warning for rain has been issued for parts of southern England on Sunday, including Portsmouth, London, Brighton and Canterbury. It follows a washout Saturday which has seen heavy rain and strong gales batter most parts of the UK. The Met Office said: "A further spell of rain, some of it heavy, is expected on Sunday morning. The yellow weather warning is in place from 5am to 10am on Sunday. As a result of the heavy rain, spray and flooding on roads is expected, according to the Met Office.
