Wednesday is expected to be the warmest day of the week with 24C possible in London and potentially towards Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, the Met Office says. But as we get into the Easter weekend, temperatures are set to plunge back down to single figures in parts of the country. Wet weather is forecast for Easter Sunday, with the chance of sleet or snow in Scotland and the far north of England. The risk of snow continues for Scotland and parts of northern England on Easter Monday.
