Most UK holidaymakers would cancel a holiday if they had to wear a mask in public on a trip, according to a new report. The results come as the industry continues to face cancellations and redundancies, after Spain was removed from the UK government’s travel corridor list on 26 July. The survey also found that 93% would cancel if quarantine was required on arrival in their holiday destination. WTTC chief executive Gloria Guevara said this week: “It’s heartbreaking to see our worst fears for the UK and global travel and tourism sector coming true.
