British police say they are attempting to negotiate with 20 to 30 men, some armed with blades, who have occupied a Sikh temple in central England. The Warwickshire Police force says officers were called early Sunday morning to the temple in Leamington Spa, a town 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of London. Police say officers and religious leaders are inside "to negotiate a peaceful resolution." Police say the incident isn't related to terrorism but is "an escalation of an ongoing local dispute." A wedding between a Sikh and a non-Sikh was due to be held at the temple Sunday.
