David Davis, Greg Clark and Karen Bradley, respectively the Brexit, business and Northern Ireland secretaries, met freight industry and business leaders as part of their group’s research. Max fac, or maximum facilitation, refers to the use of technology to minimise friction at the border if Britain leaves the customs union.
