The Supreme Court this morning removed a block on the Home Office sending witness statements and intelligence related to Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh. It came after Donald Trump administration gave an assurance it would not seek the death penalty in the case of the two British jihadists, who are accused of being part of the notorious Isis murder cell. British authorities had been bound by a Supreme Court ruling which prevented the evidence handover, after a case brought by Elsheikh’s mother.
