A UK care home provider is recruiting 3,000 staff to help its frontline teams cope with the pressures of the coronavirus pandemic. The Four Seasons Health Care Group announced the recruitment drive earlier this week after anticipating staff shortages could occur as a result of the outbreak. The independent provider, which has over 180 homes in the UK and cares for more than 10,000 elderly residents, is looking for people to fill caring and non-caring posts, such as preparing food or housekeeping. No care sector experience is necessary and the company is hoping to employ workers who have 'absolutely transferable' skills in the hard-hit hospitality and airline industries. 'Please get in touch with our recruitment team - the elderly in society need you.'
