A British policeman who phoned in a hoax terrorism alert has been jailed for seven years. Officials say Hussain set off a nationwide terrorism alert by making the bogus call to the police emergency services. West Midlands policeman Amar Tasaddiq Hussain was sentenced Friday in Stafford Crown Court. Judge Michael Chambers said the 29-year-old policeman showed no remorse for his crime. The judge said the three plotted to "falsely incriminate an innocent man" who was questioned by police for several days.
