The head of the Great Britain athletics team is considering his position in the wake of the Alberto Salazar doping scandal. Neil Black, UK Athletics’ performance director, looked a broken man at the end of the World Championships in Doha and refused to rule out quitting. He said he would review his role with Chris Clark, the new chairman of the governing body, after returning from Doha today. Salazar, the former coach of Mo Farah, was banned for four years for “orchestrating and facilitating prohibited doping conduct”.
