Students, especially those from faraway places had been complaining that they could not access the online teaching because of poor internet connectivity. (Shutterstock)The University Grants Commission (UGC) has sent an advisory to all colleges saying it has received complaints from students about “technical glitches” during online classes. The UGC has advised each college to set up a grievance monitoring cell and address the problem immediately. “The students have represented regarding completion of syllabi, technical glitches during the online classes, conduct of face to face classes, infrastructural constraints, examination issues related to back papers, admission process, collection of compulsory non-refundable deposits etc....,” the UGC advisory read. Students, especially those from faraway places had been complaining that they could not access the online teaching because of poor internet connectivity.
