MUMBAI: Leading digital cinema distribution network UFO Moviez India has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 9.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 13.3 crore in the year ago period.Company's revenues improved by 3.1% to Rs 134.6 crore (from Rs 130.6 crore), while operating profit (EBITDA) stood at Rs 36.4 crore. "Our annual guidance of 30% growth remains unchanged," said Kapil Agarwal , Joint Managing Director of UFO Moviez . ""We continue to make progress towards achieving our strategic objectives," added Sanjay Gaikwad , MD at UFO Moviez. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, EBITDA was at Rs 40.6 crore.In the theatrical and in-cinema advertisement business PAT was higher by 5.7% to Rs 15 crore, compared to Rs 14.2 crore in the year ago period. "Our hyperlocal advertising initiative - UFO Framez has been well received by direct sales associates and advertisers and has started yielding results.
