Nate Diaz has thrown his highly-anticipated bout with Jorge Masvidal into jeopardy after the UFC star revealed he falsely tested positive for 'elevated levels' of 'tainted supplements'. However, the popular star has cast doubt over the bout, tweeting a statement to fans on Thursday saying he won't take part in UFC 244. The former two-weight UFC champion has spoken of his intentions to fight the winner of the UFC 244 main event, with a trilogy fight with Diaz a popular choice among fans. Given the pulling power of both fighters, that bout can easily be made by UFC chiefs, regardless of how the latest Diaz news pans out. Although, should Diaz not compete next Saturday, fans may not see the arch rivals compete for the BMF belt.
